Crazy as the blog name is, we as a family have realised the potential downside of both the ways money can take us in this fast paced life! So to introduce which category we fall into, we are people who think less and spend a lot, or should say, we were the kind of people who thought less and spent more, we basically evolved with age.

The thing with age is, the more you become older, the more people expect you to be responsible!
So here goes, Shawn our second son was born last November , and somehow along with him came a sense of responsibility and the feeling of getting older Day by day, to start with we had two children, soon every expense would be doubled. So we googled and researched and analysed all our expenses and started out on a journey to live frugal lifestyle where we spent less and valued the money we had and got in our life, it’s a beautiful way of living, but not for many, people like us went overboard, we budgeted and scrutinised our expenses at the end of the month and every eat out became a mistake, everything we shopped became a sad thing we did, all that we felt good about previously become a a very sad thing!
Now the thing is being economical and living consciously is not wrong, in fact it is the best thing anyone could do, but if that rides you and you go towards being unhappy and a miser, then something is wrong somewhere. We need to recheck!
The more we focus on Money, either as spending with it and wanting more in a greedy way or by not spending any of it and only saving up every penny, so one day you get buried with it , (as ironic as that sounds, money is only this worlds way and can never get you anything in the heavenly world we so long to go and spend eternity with), it somehow starts to control us rather than we controlling it.

I understand the world works around the word “Money”, but God doesn’t, his kingdom doesn’t, and even if you are not a believer in God, which is a crazy thing to be in itself, the animals the plants the world as we know it is very much functioning without the very aspect of money ! So leaving these Deep stuff just for us to ponder on let’s get back to what we started.
Spendthrift - people who spend without much thinking, buying millions of things and caring less for the environment, their loved ones and even their children’s future
Frugal - people who live simple and economical, saving up every penny they have and never indulging in any form of spending without a dire hard necessity, often leading to a life of regrets and what ifs that you don’t wanna face at age 50!
So the bottom line, save how much you can save, spend the rest on stuff you want to spend, live life without regrets , live life consciously regarding the world we live and the people and species we live along. Give when you have to give, hold back when you have to hold back.
We as family live by the below saying right now “Let’s Save ! Lets Give !! Let’s Live”

Cheers to your family and life out there, whatever way of living you choose, remember you have one life, one experience, don’t mess it up in regrets and irresponsible living !
Get the best of both worlds, the poorest man can live the richest life and I too believe that a richest man can live the most adventurous and soulful humane life !
Whatever life God gives you, love it and live it beautifully one day at a time !
Nice one :)
